The University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) was established in 1971 as a Constituent College of University of Delhi. It imparts various medical and paramedical courses. Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital is the associated teaching hospital with 1000 beds.  UCMS is known for its quality research and has a National ranking of 7th based on the number of publications in PubMed indexed journals.

Post: Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for the following post in an Atomic Energy Research Board (AERB) sponsored research project titled "Leukocyte DNA damage as a biomarker for radiation exposure to the patients undergoing MDCT examinations".

Emoluments:    Rs 8,000 + HRA (as per rule)


Essential Qualification: B.sc/ M.sc in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Toxicology/ Biosciences/ Biomedical sciences/ Pharma or equivalent.

Age: 20-30 years

Desirable: Knowledge of laboratory work and computers.

The selected candidate will have to work as a full time in the project. The post is temporary and will continue up to the presently sanctioned duration (max 3 years). The short listed candidates will be called for interview.
