Bodoland University was established by Bodoland University Act 2009, passed in the Assam legislative Assembly. The present Bodoland University is an up-gradation of the Kokrajhar campus of Gauhati University to a full fledged state University as per the provision of the Act. The setting-up of the new university comes as a fulfillment of the dreams of the people of entire lower Assam, irrespective of caste, creed or economic status. The new university would cater to the educational need of the people, not only of the Bodoland area but also the adjoining states and nations like Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh. Keeping in view the culture of various ethnic communities, geographical features and natural resources, the university aims at providing quality education to the students of this region so that their talents and potentials can be tapped for the advancement of this area and society.

Post: Pharmacist- 1
Qualification & Experience:
1. 10 + 2 with Science Stream Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
2. Approved Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act. 1948.
Pay Band & Grade Pay: PB - 5,200 – 20,200 GP - 3,300
Application Fee : Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 1,000.00 for Sl. No. 1 to 13 and Rs. 500.00 for Sl. No. 14 to 18 (in case of ST/SC Rs. 500.00 and Rs. 250.00 respectively) as an application fees for the post by Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Bodoland University payable at SBI, Balagaon Branch (Code – 7379), Kokrajhar.
Last Date: Completed application in the prescribed form along with attested copies of all testimonial in support of qualification, experience, age, caste including mark sheets accompanied with bank draft must reached: The Registrar, Bodoland University, P.O. Rangalikhata (Debargaon), Dist. Kokrajhar (Assam), PIN-783370, latest by 23-02-2013. Those who are willing to apply for more than one post, they must submit separate application form with separate application fees. The name of the post and department must be written on the envelope of the application.
Age: Not below 18 years and above 38 years of age as on 28-02-2013. Upper Age is relaxable by 5 years for ST/SC candidates for Sl. No. 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 & 18.
Those who are in employment must submit their application through proper channel as per format given Part – B(2) .
Candidates will have to appear in the written test (if/where necessary) and an interview at their own cost. Mere fulfillment of academic qualifications and experience will not entitle a candidate to be called for interview.
