The Kerala Public Service Commission is a body created by the Constitution of India. The Commission advise the Government on all matters relating to civil services referred to it under Article 320 (3) of the Constitution and publish notifications inviting applications for selection to various posts as per the requisitions of the appointing authorities, conduct written test and/or practical tests, physical efficiency test and interview, prepare ranked list based on the performance of the candidates and advise candidates for appointment strictly based on their merit and observing the rules of reservation as and when vacancies are reported.

ii Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates.
iii Separate Ranked lists will be prepared for above districts in pursuance of this notification. Ranked lists thus prepared and published by the Commission shall remain in force until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above community, but remain unfilled due to paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published for the post in the following date in the following districts.

iv. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in GO(Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. A candidate advised for appointment in one revenue district from the Ranked List prepared is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes five years continuous service from the date of commencement of service in the former district. Even if transfer is allowed after five years, it will be subject to the rules in G O (MS) No.4/61/PD, dated 2.1.1961. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post, but they can apply to higher posts when notified
Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment [ From candidates belonging to Ox Dheevara and Ezhava communites only]
Age 1) IMS & ISM Departments 18-38, candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1993 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for the post.
2) Ayurveda Colleges 19-38, Candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1992 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply for the post. (Including the relaxation as per para 2 (i)of General conditions)
Note:-
1)The upper age limit is relaxed to 40 years in the case of ox candidates who were adult members of SC converted to christian and their children.
2)For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para 2 of General Conditions under Part II of this notification.(except Para 2(i))
Qualifications:
ISM/ Ayurveda Colleges
(i) A Pass in SSLC or its equivalent
(ii) Diploma /Certificate in Ayurveda Pharmacist Course recognised by the Government of Kerala.
IMS Certificate of Ayurveda Pharmacist Course recognised by the Government.
Last date for receipt of applications :08.02.2011 Wednesday upto 12 midnight.

Applications with Photo uploaded shall be submitted on-line only. Detailed instructions regarding the submission of the applications are available on the website of the Kerala public Service Commission viz.www.keralapsc.org. No application fee is required. The candidates applying on-line shall keep the print out (Receipt ) of their applications and the barcode number shall be quoted in all further enquiries/correspondence.Documents to prove qualification, age, community etc. have to be produced as and when called for. Applications which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected.
If a written Test/OMR Test is conducted as a part of the Selection, Admission Tickets of eligible candidates will be made available on the website of the Kerala Public Service Commission. Candidates shall to download their Admission Tickets as per the instructions on the website.
