Post: Lead Packaging Operator
Job Description:
Performs advanced functions relating to the packaging of drug products; consistent with established Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), customer requirements and in conjunction with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Responsible for the safe and efficient execution of their job duties, while ensuring product compliance to established standards. Monitors the technicians to insure strict adherence to Batch Production Records (BPR) instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)?Manages the daily distribution of work for line operators on the line
*Assist in training and development of line operators and providing performance feedback to management. Perform required Mapics transactions to ensure batch records as turned in to QA in a timely manner
Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 3 years of Pharmaceutical Packaging Experience
High school diploma or GED, 2 year college degree preferred.
3 – 5 years previous work experience or equivalent technical training/certification or a combination of work experience and technical training/certification
Mathematical aptitude in Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Ratios and Percentages.
*Ability to use a calculator.
*Knowledge of Metric and English weighing and measurements systems.
*Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions including SOP’s and Batch Record documentation.
*Accurate and precise in recording data and batch information.
*Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and the operating principles of control systems.
*Ability to work in both independent and team environments.
*Proficient in reading and writing English to understand work instructions and document results.
