The National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) was established by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technolgy, Government of India, in November 1997 as a fully funded autonomous research institute in the area of neuroscience and brain. The Centre was registered as an Society in June 1999 under the Registration of Societies Act.
NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC), Manesar-122 050, Gurgaon, requires a “Junior Research Fellow” in a project funded by Indian Council of Medical Research.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science, with more than 60%. Experienced in R&D Laboratory for at least 1/2 years. Experience with handling mammalian cell culture, basic molecular biology assays and experimentation is mandatory for project.
Desirable requirements: Experience western blotting, PCR, Microscopy, handling and experimentation with and knowledge of primer designing, will be considered an added qualification.

Emoluments: Rs 16,000/- per month
Duration: The tenure will be for a period of 1 year and extendable on review and on mutual agreement. The post is co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate should abide by the rules and regulations of ICMR and NBRC.
Accommodation: Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC and as per availability in the Hostel at NBRC Campus, Manesar.
Eligible candidates may appear for a walk in-interview at NBRC between 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on 01st February 2012 alongwith their CV and all the required certificates in original and with a set of attested copies of such certificate / documents in support of their qualification and experience, to be verified before 11:00 am.
No TA / DA will be payable to the candidates for attending the interview.
