Applications are invited for post of JRF and SRF at NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH IN REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH

The institute had a humble beginning in 1954 in the form of a Contraceptive Testing Unit. In 1970 it matured into an institute having a space of its own in the heart of central Mumbai with an unique identity which was then named as the ‘Institute for Research in Reproduction ‘(IRR).

Applications are invited for the following post to be filled on purely temporary basis (for a period of 3 years renewable on yearly basis) for the DBT funded project entitled: “Studies on the binding specificities of Gonadotropins and their Receptors”

Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)- 1 Post
Stipend: 12000+30%HRA (For First and Second Year) 14000+30%HRA (For Third year)
Qualification: First Class M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/ Pharmacology/ Chemistry or any other relevant area of Biology
Desirable: Good knowledge of protein structures with experience in use of softwares for molecular modelling and docking. Knowledge of PERL programming.

Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) - 1 Post
Stipend: 14000+30%HRA
Qualification: First Class M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/ Pharmacology/ Chemistry or any other relevant area of Biology AND 2 years of research experience
Desirable: Experience in molecular modeling, docking, MD simulations and design of peptidomimetics
