Post: Analyst/Senior Analyst - Business Analytics
Job Description:
Work closely together with the U.S. Business Insights Team and provide them with analyses/reports based on pharmaceutical audit and other secondary data (e.g. sales, promotional-data, Rx-data) and associated databases.
Analyze sales, market, competitors and market research data to provide U.S. Business Insights teams with reports. Publish weekly/monthly brand performance updates and analysis. Generate insights based on secondary or primary research data.
Candidate Profile:
-Strong analytical skills, ability to generate insightful analysis from hard data and secondary information.
-Familiarity of IMS audit data interpretation and reporting skills. Knowledge of basic statistical analysis techniques.
-Strong business acumen and awareness of brand, therapy area and market dynamics of the US market.
-Working knowledge of all relevant databases such as IMS Knowledge Link, Decision Resources, Evaluate Pharma, Thomson Research, Adis R&D, IDdb3, Pharmaprojects, Factiva etc. PC access tools; proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, forecasting skills, and ability to interpret findings.
-Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Ability to define priorities and meet deadlines.
-Must be accurate and detailed oriented with strong follow up skills. Fluent in spoken and written English.
-Must be able to follow U.S. work hours.
-Masters degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences/Life sciences; MBA is a plus.
