Job Description:
Jakob & Partners India Pvt. Limited is currently seeking a Pharmacist, Doctor or other person with Pharma experience (within business development, Regulatory, or Sales/Marketing) preferably holding a PhD or Post graduate in science or management for the position as Head of Delivery in our office in Gurgaon.
Jakob & Partners India Pvt. Limited established in year 2008 is seeking a core of young, dedicated and ambitious employee who can contribute positively in developing a research team with a strong focus on acquiring the necessary skills (research and management) to expand the organization further in India as well as contribute significantly to the overall growth of the company - both in terms of projects as well as business segments.
Head of Delivery will be responsible for overall delivery w.r.t. varied projects & smooth functioning of department. He / She should have complete understanding of core information on the global pharmaceutical and biotechnological markets with respect to key players and products in specific market segments.
He / she with ideas and visions will be responsible for developing new research projects and opportunities. He / She will be responsible for the recruitment of the research team and shall be capable of handling a team of 10 – 12 researchers.
The candidate will be responsible for all day to day communication between the Jakob & Partners Denmark Office on all ongoing and new project delivery issues. The company may provide international training and work exposure.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate has five to seven years of management, research or international experience within the industry with minimum a Masters Degree in Science, i.e. in Pharmacy or other relevant life science degree or management degree.
The candidate is expected to be fluent in written and oral English with excellent communication and coordination skills. In addition, a thorough knowledge in Windows, Office Pack, Email and Internet browsing is a requirement.
Regarding personal skills, we are seeking a person with large-scale potential, who has a great interest in being the driving force behind a new research unit with the right frame of mind to create both short and long-term results. The Head of Delivery should posses ambitions of growth (in terms of employees, business segments, profit and responsibility) as well as the right commitment and vigor to succeed.
In addition, the Head of Delivery shall have the ability to work independently and establish network and possesses the management/leadership skills to run the research on a day–to-day basis.
