The Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow is one of the youngest central universities in the country. The jurisdiction of this residential University is over the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. The campus Vidya Vihar is located off Rae Bareli Road, about 10 kms south of the Charbagh Railway Station, Lucknow. The objects of the University IS to promote advanced knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit
Applications on prescribed form are invited from exceptionally qualified candidates for the Teaching positions of the University in the following Schools/Departments/Centre. The University currently has only Post Graduate and Doctoral research programmes.

Applications are invited for the temporary position of JRF (Rs.12,000 p.m consolidated) under the DBT funded project entitled “In-silico search for potential siRNA sequences to develop Geminivirus resistant Papaya crop” tenable at Department of Biotechnology, BBAU, Lucknow.

Essential qualification: M.Sc., in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Bioinformatics and NET qualified.

Desirable: Experience in project related area.

Stipend: Rs.12,000 p.m. (Consolidated)

Terms and Conditions:
a) Upper Age Limit not exceeding 28 yrs as on the date of interview. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates 05 years and OBC candidates03 years as per Govt. of India instructions.
b) At the time of interview the candidates should bring all necessary original documents, attested copies of certificates of examinations passed (starting from matriculation indicating date of birth), one latest photograph and caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC.
c) Tentative marksheets/ certificates and “result awaited “will not be considered.
d) All eligible candidates are requested to be present at the venue on the said date 30 minutes before the scheduled time for necessary formalities.
e) Canvassing in any form will be disqualification to the candidates.
f) The decision of the Vice Chancellor, BBAU will be final and binding.
g) The position is purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with the sponsored project.
h) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
