Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as GITAM was founded in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent intellectuals and industrialists of Andhra Pradesh led by Dr. M.V.V.S.Murthi, Former Member of Parliament and popular philanthropist. Their mission was to set up a world-class technology and management institution in the picturesque city of Visakhapatnam to impart futuristic and comprehensive professional education of global standards with a high sense of discipline and social relevance in a serene and invigorating environment. The avowed objective of GITAM is to train qualified professionals to shoulder the responsibility of contributing to the development of India as a “Knowledge Society”.
Applications are invited for the post of Project Fellow to work in the research project entitled “Bioavailability enhancement studies of vitamin A conjugated with piperine” funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
Post: Project Fellow (Junior Research Fellow/Junior Project Fellow)
Tenure: 3 years
Educational Qualification: M. Tech in Biotechnology / M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry from a recognized University with at least 55% marks.
Desirable: Candidate with specialization in Biotechnology with research experience in extraction of bioactive compounds from medicinal plants will be preferred.
Remuneration: Project fellow appointment will be on temporary basis @ Rs. 14,000 per month for initial two years and Rs. 16,000 per month from the third year onwards. Interested person should send their application on a plain paper giving full details of qualifications and experiences to:
