Job Description:
Conducts routine analytical and compliance tasks and performs assigned maintenance activities
Major Accountability
* Performs routine testing, initially under supervision
* Uses limited technical knowledge to solve basic analytical problems
* Assists with calibration, maintenance and qualification of instrumentation in conjunction with vendors or site services, as required
* May perform method development and validation under directed supervision
* Operates within the requirements of the Novartis Quality System and HSE regulations
* Demonstrates desired Novartis Values and Behaviors
* Assesses data generated versus specification and known trends
Key Performance Indicators (Indicate how performance for this role will be measured)
* Accuracy of work/error rate
* Work rate
* Ownership of data and understanding of its impact

MSc / M Pharm/Ph.D with at least 2+ years of relevant experience.

Candiate Profile:
•Desired knowledge of chemical principles, analytical techniques, analytical instrumentation, GxPs, validation and allied areas.
•Current knowledge of chemical and Analytical sciences is desirable.
•Good communication skills.
•Experience in managing analytical or stability projects is desirable.
