Applications on prescribed form are invited (from the permanent residents of the J&K State only) for the following posts as per category-wise breakup, pay scale, educational qualification and age given below

Post: Lecturer Pharmacology (I Special Drive) - 2 openings in GOVT. MEDICAL COLLEGE, SRINAGAR

RBA-01, ST-01

Pay scale = BP - (9300-34800 + GP 5400)

Qualification:
For Medical Persons: - Post-graduate degree in Pharmacology i.e M.D., Ph.D., D.Sc
For Non-Medical Persons: - Ph. D in Pharmacology.

Experience:
As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir. The teaching experience, if any, gained before or during post graduation studentship shall not be considered while determining the eligibility for the pots of lecturers.

Age as on 1st January, 2011: RBA/SC/ST/ALC/SLC = 40 years

Application Forms
 Application Forms can be obtained from the office of the J&K Public Service Commission, Resham Ghar Colony, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu/ Polo Ground Srinagar on cash payment of Rs. 50/- (excluding processing charges of Rs. 10/-) from the counters opened by the J&K Bank in Jammu & Srinagar offices of the Commission the Medical Council of India.

As registrar / Tutor, Demonstrator / Tutor or a Senior Resident for a period of two years in a recognized Teaching Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India or the University of Jammu/Kashmir.

(b) The OMR Application Forms should neatly and correctly be filled in as per the instruction sheet supplied with the Application Form. A copy of passport size photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer should be pasted at the relevant space in the Application Form.
(c) The Application Form complete in all respects should be photo-copied. The photocopies of the certificates/testimonials be attached with the photocopy of the Application Form. The OMR Application Form together with the photocopy of the Application Form and enclosures be submitted to the Commission office in the envelope provided by the Commission along with the Application Form.
(d) Last date for receipt of Application Forms in the Commission Office either by hand or by post is 05.09.2011 which shall be the cut off date for purposes of qualification, and experience for determining the eligibility. In case the last date is declared a public holiday, then the last date for receipt of Application Forms shall be the next working day. Candidate should ensure that their Application Forms reach the Commission Office at Srinagar or Jammu on or before the last date fixed for the receipt of the Application Forms. Application Forms received after the last date shall be summarily rejected.

Fee
A Fee of Rs. 400/- in respect of general category candidates and Rs.200/- in respect of reserved category candidates has to be paid in the form of cash through the counters of J&K Bank set up in the offices of J & K PSC at Jammu/Srinagar.
