National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the first national level institute in pharmaceutical sciences with a proclaimed objective of becoming a centre of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. The Government of India has declared NIPER as an ‘Institute of National Importance’. It is an autonomous body set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. The Institute is conceived to provide leadership in pharmaceutical sciences and related areas not only within the country, but also to the countries in South East Asia, South Asia and Africa. NIPER is a member of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Salary: Rs. 14000/- p.m. (consolidated)
Qualification:
Masters Degree in Pharmacoinformatics/Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/ computer Applications or equivalent;
Desirable: Efficiency in writing manuscripts, computer knowledge and good Pharmacoinformatics/bioinformatics background
Age Limit: 35 years (may be relaxed depending upon the suitability of qualification & experience &Relaxation for SC/ST/PH/OBC as per GOI rules).
Advertised post is contractual in nature & none of the post holds right to permanency.

The above position under project no. GP-340 is purely temporary and initially till May 2012. Walk in Interview will be held on 05.08.11 at 11.00 a.m. in the Conference Room, convention Centre of this Institute. Candidates should bring three copies of the application giving details of educational qualification, experience with name of the Institute, post held, scale of pay and past salary.
