Northern Coalfields Limited was formed in April 1986 as a subsidiary company of Coal India Limited. Its headquarter is located at Singrauli, Distt. Sidhi (M.P.). Singrauli is connected by road with Varanasi (220 Km.) – a holy city on the banks of river Ganga, and Rewa (206 Km.) – the state of white tigers and Sidhi (100 Km.) – district headquarter town of Madhya Pradesh. The nearest railway station is Singrauli located on the Katni-Chopan branch line running parallel to the northern boundary of the Coalfield. The nearest railway station for reaching directly to Delhi and Kolkata is Renukoot that is located on the Garhwa-Chopan rail-line. Nearest (private) airstrip is at Muirpur (60 Km.).

10+2 with science and diploma in Pharmacy registered with Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act 1948 with valid registration.
Scale of Pay for the Posts : (Monthly Rated) T&S Grade- C - Rs. 10,127.70 of NCWA-VIII
Age: Minimum Age is 18 years, Upper Age limit for all posts= 30 years for General, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST as on. 31st August 2011. (OBC candidates who seek relaxation must submit Valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format).

Reservation for persons with disability and ex-serviceman candidates will be applicable as per Govt. Directives. One candidate will apply only for one post. The application should be accompanied with the attested photocopies of the Certificates/Testimonials in support of age, educational qualification, Caste certificate and physically handicapped certificates issued by competent authority, Experience etc. along with two copies of recent passport size photograph duly attested by Gazetted Officer. Those working in the Govt/Semi Govt./Public Sector Undertaking should apply through proper channel. Incomplete applications & those received after the due date are liable to be rejected.
