Career in Regulatory affairs for Chemistry professionals

Dear All,

This is my first post.

I am Ph.D Chemistry with 2 yrs experience as Analytical development Chemist (R&D)in pharmaceutical,i am pursuing PG Diploma in pharma regulatory Affairs.

I am thinking of career in regulatory affairs but all jobs i see demands candidate with Medical or Pharma degree.

Can anyone guide me if chemistry professional can also go into regulatory affairs or not.I am looking for response.
