Consideration of production Exp. in R&D??

Hi All I'm fresher M. Pharma Pharmacology currently searching a job. I'm as definitely interested in R&D as others. From last 3 months I don't have any interview call so I deciding to join QA/QC Department. But most of my friends suggest me to join production dept. rather than QA/QC b'coz recruiters in future may hire you on ur production exp. and QA/QC is not worthy. Could any one guide me regarding query plz. Thanks in advance
