BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an Institute of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. The institute is an integral part of the interdisciplinary NCR Biotech Science Cluster located at Faridabad, with the mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into products to improve human health.

Senior Project Associate
Project : Understanding gastrointestinal tract microbiome of neonates with or without sepsis (under Neo-sepsis program)
PI : Dr. Bhabatosh Das
Monthly consolidated emoluments : Rs. 42,000/- plus HRA
Age Limit : 40 years
Essential & Desirable qualifications & Experience : B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc./M.Tech degree of Life Sciences from a recognized university, with at least four (4) years’ post-qualification experience in Microbiology. 
Job description/ Skills required : 
• Candidates should have a strong background in bioinformatics and hands-on experience in 16S metagenomics, transcriptomics, or whole-genome sequencing analysis. 
• The candidate should be familiar with the bioinformatics pipeline to analyse the sequence data.

Principal Project Associate
Project : Polyphosphate signalling in microbial pathogenesis and host immunity
PI : Dr. Ramandeep Singh
Monthly consolidated emoluments : Rs. 49,000/- plus HRA
Age Limit : 40 years
Essential & Desirable qualifications & Experience : B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc./M.Tech degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university, with at least eight (8) years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field OR Ph.D. degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized university, with at least four (4) years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant field. Desirable : At least one first-author paper in a peer-reviewed indexed journal.
Job description/ Skills required : Experience working in BSL-3 laboratories, handling Mycobacterium tuberculosis, FACS experiments, and animal studies.

Senior Project Associate (Bioanalyst)
Project : Placenta Health Project - Adaptive Dose Finding Platform in India
PI : Dr. Nitya Wadhwa
Monthly consolidated emoluments : Rs. 55,000/-
Age Limit : 40 years
Essential & Desirable qualifications & Experience : Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Pharmacology/ Life Sciences or a related discipline from a recognized university with atleast two (2) years’ of post-qualification experience in the following areas- 
a) Experience in LC-MS/ MS-based bioanalysis of biological samples. 
b) Demonstrated experience in LC-MS/ MS method development, validation, and quantitative analysis of drugs and small molecules in biological matrices.
Job description/ Skills required : The Bioanalyst will support pharmacokinetic (PK) studies using LC-MS/MS- based analytical quantifications. The candidate will work collaboratively within a DMPK team to generate robust, high-quality bioanalytical data using LC-MS/MS. A brief detail on the job profile is as follows: 
• Operate and maintain LC-MS/MS system to ensure reliable analytical performance 
• Pre-column processing of biological samples including extractions for required quantifications
• Perform routine bioanalysis of clinical and preclinical PK study samples 
• Develop, optimise, and validate LC-MS/MS and HPLC methods for quantification of small molecule-based drugs and metabolites in biological matrices (e.g., plasma, serum, tissues). 
• Preparation and maintenance of reference standards, reagent inventory, logbooks and lab notebooks 
• Writing analytical protocols for new projects after required literature search. 
• Generate analytical summaries and bioanalytical study plans. 
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure adherence to laboratory safety and good documentation practices.

Project Associate-I
Project : A Study of Etiopathogenesis of Systemic Inflammation in Acute Pancreatitis, its Functional Consequences and Progression to Chronic Pancreatitis
PI : Dr. Nitya Wadhwa
Monthly consolidated emoluments : i) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for scholars selected through CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE, or through national-level examinations conducted by Central Departments/agencies/institutions; 
ii) Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others
Age Limit : 35 years
Essential & Desirable qualifications & Experience : Master’s degree in Life Sciences/M.V.Sc. from a recognized university OR B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or related field from a recognized University or equivalent. 
Desirable : Diploma in Computer Applications or related subjects with one-year working experience in clinical data management/clinical research/operations/MIS/data analysis/IT/computer science/healthcare field.
Job description/ Skills required : 
• Responsible for performing the data entry and support in managing data. 
• Support and perform a variety of standard administrative duties including maintaining official documents meticulously ensuring high quality and accuracy of work. 
• Provide admin support during project meetings, trainings, conferences, workshops and project- related field visits. 
• Keeping track of project updates and reports 
• Assist in compilation and preparation of briefing and presentation materials, maintenance and filling of study documentation.
• Assists with data entry and reconciliation as needed or assigned. 
• Assists in Quality Check of the data and the screen validation of the Clinical Database. 
• Assist in maintaining and updating data management plans and any other relevant data management documentation. 
• Support the clinical data management team and project teams as required.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
a) These are the short-term positions, and extension will be granted subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbents and tenure of the project for which they are selected. Those appointed to these positions will not have any claim for regularization of their employment. 
b) All educational, professional and technical qualifications should be from a recognized Board/University. 
c) The experience requirement specified above shall be the experience acquired after obtaining the minimum educational qualifications specified for the post. The candidates are required to satisfy themselves, before applying /appearing for the selection process, that they possess the minimum eligibility criteria as laid down in the recruitment advertisement. No query will be entertained with regard to eligibility criteria. 
d) The date of Interview of the respective post will be the CRUCIAL DATE for determining eligibility with regard to age, experience, essential qualification etc. 
e) Age and other relaxations for direct recruits and departmental candidates: 1. By five years for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities. 2. By three years for candidates belonging to OBC communities. 3. For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) falling under the following categories: (i) UR - ten years, ii) OBC - 13 years (iii) SC/ST - 15 4. Age is relaxable for Central Government servants up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government, from time-to-time. 5. Institute employees will get the age relaxation to the extent of the service rendered by them as on closing date of advertisement. 6. For Ex-servicemen upto the extent of service rendered in defense forces (Army, Navy & Air force) plus 3 years provided they have put in a minimum of 6 months attested service. 
f) All results/notifications will only be published on our website. Therefore, the candidates should essentially visit THSTI website, regularly. 
g) All communications will only be made through email. 
h) In case many candidates appear for the walk-in interview, screening will be done to limit the number of candidates to those possessing higher/relevant qualification and experience. 
i) The no. of vacancy indicated above may change subjected to the actual requirement at the time of Written test/skill test/interview. 
j) With regard to any provisions not covered in this notification, the bye laws of THSTI / Govt. of India rules / guidelines shall prevail. 
k) Canvassing wrong information in any form will be a disqualification.

For posts mentioned above, interested candidates fulfilling the criteria as mentioned above may walk-in for written test/skill test/interview at 9:00 am on the date mentioned against each positions at THSTI, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, 3rd Milestone, Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, Faridabad – 121001.

NOTE:- 
1) The candidates must bring their latest CV/resume, one set of photocopy of documents in support of their educational qualification and experience along with their originals and a valid ID card for verification. 
2) Candidates coming after the time slot mentioned will not be entertained. 
3) All the candidates coming for written test/skill test/interview at THSTI are mandatorily required to deposit their mobile phone along with valid Identity proof at the reception and the same will only be returned back on completion of the entire selection process.
