Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications for the position of Research Associate - III to work under the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India funded “Technical Resource Centre for Evidence Synthesis and Grade – based Clinical Guideline Development” at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal.
Post : Research Associate - III (Position: 01)
Qualification : • Ph.D./ MD/ MS/ MDS or equivalent postgraduate degree.
• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences/ Public Health, Statistics, M. Pharm, M.E., M.Tech or M.Sc with atleast 3 years of research, teaching or design/development experience after the post-graduation degree.
Work description
The Research Associate will assist in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses commissioned under the Technical Resource Centre. The work will include literature searches, study screening and data extraction, risk-of-bias assessment, evidence synthesis and meta-analysis, preparation of GRADE evidence profiles, assistance with evidence-to-decision processes, preparation of reports and presentations, coordination of review-related activities, and assistance with training and capacity-building activities in evidence synthesis and guideline development. The Research Associate will also assist with documentation and progress reporting related to the Centre. These activities are consistent with the scope of work specified by DHR for the Technical Resource Centres.

Remuneration : Rs. 67,000 + 10% HRA
