Post : Production Manager / Senior Manager (Sterile & Injectable Department)
Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day pharmaceutical production and packing operations to achieve production targets, quality, productivity, and delivery commitments.
• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with cGMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR, data integrity, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Plan production activities and effectively utilize manpower, machines, materials, and manufacturing facilities.
• Monitor and improve key operational parameters including yield, productivity, OEE, rejection, rework, downtime, and manpower utilization.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of batch documentation and SAP/ERP transactions.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, EHS, Supply Chain, and Regulatory Affairs for smooth production operations.
• Lead investigations and effective closure of deviations, OOS/OOT, CAPA, change controls, and production-related complaints.
• Maintain a high level of audit readiness and ensure timely implementation of regulatory and customer requirements.
• Drive process improvements, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and promote a strong safety culture within the production team.
• Develop, train, and motivate production personnel and ensure optimum manpower deployment.
• Support new product introduction, technology transfer, process validation, scale-up, and process improvement activities.
Qualification & Experience
• B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
• 8–18 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
o Production Operations
o GMP
o Documentation
o Audit Readiness
o Deviation/CAPA
o Team Management
• Working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
