Advertisement for the positions of Junior Research Fellow and Research Associate – 1 in the DST-funded project entitled “Creation of Nodal Centers for the Production of Imported APIs, KSMs, and Intermediates to Achieve Self-sufficiency in the Healthcare Sector” in the DST Cluster Scheme.
Applications are invited for the positions of Junior Research Fellow and Research Associate – 1 for the project entitled “Creation of Nodal Centers for the Production of Imported APIs, KSMs, and Intermediates to Achieve Self-sufficiency in the Healthcare Sector” in the DST Cluster Scheme in the supervision of Prof Srinivas Nanduri (PI).
The project is funded by the Department of Science and Technology DST, DST/TDT/TC/KSM/2022/02 (G). The project duration is for one year and is extendable based on satisfactory performance and is co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualification for Junior Research Fellow : M. S/ M. Pharm/ M.Tech/ M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Process Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent. Research experience in organic synthesis, purification techniques, and spectral characterization will be preferred.
Salary : ₹. 37,000 + 27 % HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility tests GPAT/GATE/CSIR/UGC/ICMR CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or (b) A selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions ii) and ₹. 31,000 + 27% HRA for others who don’t qualify
Essential Qualification for Research Associate – 1 : Doctoral degree in Science/ Pharma with specialization in Organic Synthesis/ Medicinal Chemistry/ Process Development/ Semi- synthesis/ Natural products from a recognized University or equivalent. Candidates who have submitted their thesis will also be considered.
Salary : ₹. 58,000 + 27 % HRA
