NIMS Advertisement for Life Sciences, Clinical Research candidates

The Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), located in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a premier public medical university offering Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) postgraduate programs recognized by the National Medical Commission.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates in the prescribed format for the following temporary contractual posts under the ICMR-funded clinical research project entitled “Pragmatic Randomized Non- Inferiority Trial of Valganciclovir Dosing Regimens 450 mg versus 900 mg for Prevention of Clinically Significant Cytomegalovirus Infection in D+/R+ Kidney Transplant Recipients”.

Project Research Scientist-Ill (Non- Medical) (1 post)
Tenure of the post : Initially 1 year; extendable annually up to 36 months, subject to performance, funds and project continuation.
Qualification : Essential: Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline (Life Sciences / Health Sciences / Public Health / Clinical Research or allied field) with 5 years’ post-qualification experience OR PhD with 2 years’ post-qualification experience. Desirable: clinical research/RCT coordination, GCP, data management, regulatory documentation and transplant/infectious-diseases research
Age : <45 years; relaxation as per rules.
Salary per month : Rs. 1,01,400/month (Rs. 78,000 + HRA @30%), sanctioned for Years 1-2

Project Technical Support-Ill (1 post)
Tenure of the post : Initially 1 year; extendable annually up to 36 months, subject to performance, funds and project continuation.
Qualification : Essential: Three-year graduate degree in a relevant Life Science/Health Science/Allied discipline with 3 years’ post- qualification experience OR postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
Desirable : clinical research, cCRF/data entry, sample logistics, follow-up coordination, MS Office/database handling and GCP documentation.
Age : <35 years; relaxation as per rules.
Salary per month : Rs. 36,400/month (Rs. 28,000 + HRA @30%), sanctioned for Years 1-2

Appointments are purely temporary/contractual and co-terminus with the project; they confer no right to regular appointment in NIMS.
Emoluments are as sanctioned by ICMR for Years 1-2. Any later revision will be governed by the approved sanction/budget and applicable rules.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or joining the post.
