To work on project entitled “Design of de novo Peptides/Peptidomimetics for Facilitation of DEF Formation in the Apoptotic Pathway”
Educational Qualification : Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Life Sciences and related biological fields from a recognized university with not less than 60% aggregate marks.
Desirable Qualification : Experience in cell-based assays, recombinant protein purification, molecular biology and biochemistry are required. Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture, bacterial protein expression and purification, molecular biology, biophysical analysis and apoptosis assays is desirable.
Job Description : The selected candidate will perform molecular biology techniques, including gene cloning, subcloning, site-directed mutagenesis, and plasmid isolation. The role involves conducting cell-based assays such as MTT, flow cytometry (FACS), Western blotting, co-immunoprecipitation, and other apoptosis-related assays. The candidate will also perform biochemical, biophysical, and structural biology studies to characterize protein interactions and investigate their molecular mechanisms. Prior experience with these techniques and the ability to work independently in a research laboratory will be preferred.
*M.Sc. degree having duration of one-year course will not be considered. Selected candidate will have to join at the earliest; hence result-awaited candidates will not be eligible to apply for the post.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 38,440/- per month.
Duration : Initially for 3 months.
