Interview for Research Scientist at Institute of Nanoscience and Technology

Highly motivated and bright candidates are invited for walk-in-Interview for engagement of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) in the research project funded by ‘ICMR’.

Post : Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

Title of the Research Project : Netrin-1 Centric Precision Therapy for Cervical Cancer Treatment by Integrating Computer Modelling, Experimental Methods, and Nanoformulation with Protein-ligand Interactions,

Nature of the Project : Computational Chemistry/Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Bioinformatics. This project will be conducted in close collaboration with the experimental work of Dr. Deepika Sharma (Principal Investigator).

Principal Investigator : Prof. Md. Ehesan Ali, Scientist-F
Number of positions available : 01

Essential Qualification : Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG Degrees in Chemistry/Biology/ (bio) Physics/Bio Sciences/Chemical Biology/Bioinformatics or related subjects.

Desirable Experience : Research experience in computational sciences, bioinformatics, molecular dynamics simulations, Python programming, big-data handling, data analysis, and Density Functional Theory (DFT) will be preferred.

Age limit : Must not be over 35 years as on 11.09.2026, which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.

Fellowship : Rs. 56,000/- pm + 20% HRA

Duration : Initially one year and may be extended based on the candidate's performance and availability of funds.

General Terms and Conditions :
• The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis and renewable subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum till the completion of the project.
• The position is co-terminus with the project.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented along with the self-attested photocopies of these documents at the time of the interview.
