Advertisement for Research Associate positions at RMLIMS under a DHR-funded project

The institute invites applications from eligible candidates for the following contractual research position under a DHR-funded project titled : “Technical Resource Center” under Prof. (Dr.) Shiv Kumar Mudgal, Principal cum Professor, College of Nursing, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow.

Essential Eligibility
• Ph.D. / MD / MS / MDS or equivalent postgraduate degree; OR
• Minimum 3 years of research, teaching, and design & development experience after M.V.Sc. / M.Pharm / M.E. / M.Tech
• At least one research paper in a SCI journal

Desirable
• Experience in conducting and publishing Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis (SRMA)
• Expertise in PICO strategy and literature search
• Risk-of-bias assessment
• Data extraction and analysis using relevant statistical software
• Knowledge of GRADE methodology
OR
• At least two high-quality SRMA papers published in PubMed/MEDLINE-indexed journals with good Impact Factor.

Age Limit
Maximum : 40 years

Emoluments : ₹67,000/month + HRA as applicable

Terms & Conditions
1. It is the candidate's responsibility to ascertain and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience. Any misinformation detected at any stage will make the candidate liable for legal action. Permission to appear in the selection process does not confirm eligibility. Even after selection, the candidate may be disqualified at the time of document verification if they do not fulfil the essential eligibility criteria.
2. Candidates should not have exceeded 40 years of age. The cut-off date for the age limit will be the last date of submission of application. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates shall be as per Government of India norms.
3. The engagement for the above post will be contractual and purely temporary for a period of 12 months, extendable for a maximum of one more year based on performance, or until completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
4. Engagement under the externally funded project does not confer any right or claim, either explicitly or implicitly, upon the appointee for regular appointment in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, against any post or otherwise under any legal conditions prevalent.
5. The performance of the project staff will be reviewed every six months. If performance is not found satisfactory, the engagement may be terminated with one month's notice or one month's stipend in lieu thereof.
6. No TA/DA will be provided to candidates for attending the interview.
7. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
8. Private practice of any type is prohibited.
9. The candidate may be posted at any place as per the requirements of the project, including rural areas / field sites.
10. The candidate is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline applicable to institute employees.
11. The decision of the competent authority regarding selection will be final, and no representation in this regard will be entertained.
