The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre with a mission to achieve the highest standards in patient care, cancer prevention, cancer research and professional development for oncology and allied disciplines. TMC is an autonomous body funded, controlled by the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. TMC is affiliated to Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI). Qualification & Experience : Master of Science (any Stream) / Life Science / Clinical Research with experience of at least one year in data Research / Clinical Research OR MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS. 1-year work experience in Public Health is desirable
Duration : Six months or til! the continuation of the project, whichever is earlier
Project Overview : Centre for Cancer Epidemiology (CCE), Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), Mumbai has established a Unit for Strengthening Cause of Death Data (USCOD), with a vision to support, promotes and advocate for best practices in Medical Certification Cause of Death (MCCD) Data quality in Civil Registration and Vital Statistics in India and the Asia Pacific region.
