JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research, formerly known as JSS University, is a Deemed to be University located in Mysuru, Karnataka. It was established in 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 and is part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, which runs a variety of educational institutions. This deemed-to-be university is recognized by Ministry of Education and accredited by NAAC with A+ Grade (3.48 CGPA). JSS AHER has been graded as Category-I Deemed-to-be University by UGC.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow for a Research Project entitled “Repositing of Epigallocatechin- gallate loaded lipid carrier targeting vascular endothelial growth factor VEGF for the management of Retinal neovascularization by non-invasive route” funded by the HRDG-CSIR, New Delhi under CSIR-ASPIRE woman scientist scheme (37WS(0094)/2023-24/EMR-II/ASPRE dated 20.06.2024) under the supervision of Dr. Kousalya S, Lecturer, Dept. of Pharmaceutics, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty for three years.
Desired Qualification : M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics / Pharmacology / Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and preferably GPAT qualified. Age limit : 28 years for General Category and 05- years of relaxation is allowed for Castes/Tribes/OBC, Women, and Physically Handicapped Candidates.
Project Tenure : 03 Years
Stipend / Fellowship : The selected candidate must join immediately and work for two years at the Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. The candidate will be paid the stipend of Rs.37,000/- PM plus 9% HRA as per the rules and regulations of CSIR. The selected candidate. Selected candidate must be registered for PhD at JSS AHER
