General Manager (Plant Head)
Plant : 7-ACA Bulk Drug Project, Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
Qualification : M.Tech. (Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering) OR M.Sc.(Microbiology/ Biotechnology)
Experience : Minimum 25 years
Age : Below 55 Years
AS PER RULES CTC P.A : FTC Rs.24 LPA REGULAR Rs.28 LPA
Major Work and Responsibilities :
• Hands-on experience in Industrial Fermentation and relevant Utilities.
• Exposure on technology transfer from lab to pilot & commercial scale.
• Efficient management of Plant Operations including Men, Material & Machine management in order achieve the best operational efficiency of the Plant.
• Ensuring the Productivity, Quality & Dispatches round the clock.
• Ensure that the safety norms are followed & equipment are used as per the Standard Operating Procedures by each of the team members.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials / chemicals / glass wares/engineering accessories, so that activity will not hold up.
• Ensure that the team members write the journal/BMR/logbook as per the SOPs.
• Co-ordination with vendors for ensuring timely supply of materials.
• Timely follow-up for the analytical results for smooth running of fermentation process.
• As per technology trials design a robust process in Fermentation R&D & Pilot scale.
• Exposure on commissioning of fermentation facility for Pilot and Commercial.

Manager (Microbiology)

Major Work and Responsibilities :
• Job knowledge on Maintenance and preservation of different cultures.
• Hands on experience in Culture works & related culture maintenance and preservation.
• Knowledge on study & scale up of inoculums for plant suitability. Well Knowledge on different types of staining techniques & good in Microscopic observations.
• User requirement specification of all the Instruments and Equipment.
• Sound Knowledge on different types of media preparations & sterilization methods.
• Shake flask method developments & method validations.
• Knowledge of design of experiment DOE/QBD. Literature Search / Scifinder for projects.
• Handling experience on all types of microbiological testing methods (e.g: Water, finished products, raw material, MLT & BET).

Major Work and Responsibilities :
• To follow the safety in work place.
• Monitoring Good housekeeping in lab for safety.
• Development and HPLC and GC Analytical Methods of new products.
• Review of analytical raw data and all instrument logs periodically.
• Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Test procedures.
• Maintain the IQ, OQ and PQ documents.
• Updating the Master Calibration Schedule of Instrument and Equipment.
• Intra department training of newly effective SOP and STP’s.
• Preparation and initiation of Stability study as per the regulatory requirements.
• Qualification and maintenance of Working and Reference standards.
• Maintain the Chemicals and reagents as per requirement.
• Good communication between working and cross functional departments.
• Exposure on fermentation broth and relevant analysis.
