The origins of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) are rooted in the Indian Cancer Research Centre (ICRC), which was established in 1952 in Parel, Mumbai, under the purview of the Ministry of Health, Government of India. In 1966, ICRC was renamed the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) and amalgamated with the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), creating the first comprehensive cancer centre in India - the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.
Post : Research Assistant
Educational Qualifications : Mandatory : B.Sc. in biological sciences with DMLT or B.Sc. MLT or B.PMT in Laboratory Technology or B. Pharmacy from Govt. recognized University and/ Boards. Computer course in office software.
Desirable : Knowledge of Biostatistics.
Experience : Mandatory : Three months’ experience in the relevant fields is mandatory.
Desirable : Research Methodology workshop training and Good clinical laboratory Practices (GCLP), R Language are desirable.
Job Profile : Research and technical work in Clinical Laboratory.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 23,000/-p.m.
Duration : Six months & extendable
Eligible candidates may attend the walk in interview on Monday, 30th September, 2024 in Meeting Room 1, 3rd Floor, Khanolkar Shodhika, ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai -410210 along with recent CV, original and Photo copies of all certificates (with Experience Cert.) and testimonials with recent passport size photograph and ID proof.
