Applications are invited for the following posts serial no. 1 to 5 on contract basis in NIMH, USA funded project entitled “Building Resources for the Diversification of Genetic Date on Suicide Death”. (Project Code: N2459)

Project Technical Support III - 01

Qualification : Essential - Three Years Graduate in relevant subject/field + three years’ experience or PG in relevant subject/field (Information Technology, Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.) For engineering/IT/CS- first class four years graduate degree plus 3 years of experience
Desirable - Experience of programming languages such as Python, PHP, or Java for custom web or database solutions, Knowledge of database and website backup and recovery processes.

Senior Project Associate - 01

Qualification : Essential – Master's Degree in Natural Sciences or bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Four years' experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services OR Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering/Technology /Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized University or equivalent Desirable- Experience in genomic data analysis (DNA methylation data), bioinformatics tools and software (e.g., Bioconductor, Galaxy, PLINK), statistical analysis and programming languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB.

Project Associate I - 01

Salary for the positions serial 1to 5 will be as per ICMR project salary norms and serial 6 to 7 will be as per DBT project salary norms.
