Regional Centre for Biotechnology, is an Institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.
Post : Post-Doctoral Fellow position
Title of Project : Role of Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) and Mitochondria in Pigmentation : Organelle calcium signaling perspective. Duration : Initially for Six (6) months and may be extended annually after performance evaluation till the end of project.
Essential Qualifications : Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Life Sciences with at least two years of research experience in zebrafish biology. Desirable : Experience in performing zebrafish experiments and skills in molecular biology are required. Candidates with publications in the relevant field will be given preference.
