BITS Pilani is a Deemed to be University, offering on-campus programs to more than 17,500 students across its campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai. TWO PhD positions
Applications are invited for TWO PhD positions in the BFI sponsored project, “Pharmaceutical Polymer-based Bioink for Skin Tissue Constructs” under the supervision of Prof. Anasuya Ganguly and co-supervision of Prof. Rashmi Chauhan.

Scope of work : Hydrogel formulation, 3D Bioprinting, Tissue engineering
Essential Qualification : MSc/ MTech (in any field of Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy)
Desirable Qualification : Knowledge in Hydrogel formulation, Bioink, 3D Bioprinting, Cell and Tissue Culture Technology, Bio-assays etc

Scope of work : Functional Polymers, Low density high strength composites
Essential Qualification : MSc/MTech (Chemistry/ Polymer Science/ Material Science)
Desirable Qualification : Knowledge in bio-polymers and testing
Fellowship : Rs. 37,000 per month (based on the year of PhD and performance)
Duration : As per BITS Pilani norms (bitsadmission.com/phmain.aspx), 18 months in the BFI project, then Institute fellow till 5 years. Place of work : BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, Goa
