AIIMS Hiring Senior Project Associate, Project Associate

All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.

Post : Senior Project Associate, Project Associate I

Applications are invited for the following posts on contract basis in DBT funded project entitled "Genome wide DNA methylation profiling to study role of epigenetic modification in suicide completers in Indian population”.

Senior Project Associate - 01 post
Qualifications : Essential : Master s degree in Natural or agricultural sciences/ MVSc. or bachelor s degree in engineering/ Technology/ Medicine from a recognized university and four years of experience in research in industrial field, academic or science and technology Organizations OR Doctoral degree in Science/ Engineering/Technology/ Pharma/MD/MS from a recognized university or equivalent
Desirable : Experience in handling and analysing Microarray/Next- Generation sequencing work (both wet lab and dry lab).
Age limit : 40 years
Salary approved : 42000 + 24% HRA

Project Associate I - 01 post
Qualifications : Essential : i) Master’s degree in Natural of agricultural sciences / MVSc. or bachelor’s degree in engineering/Technology/ Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent
ii) National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (assistant professorship) or GATE, OR A selection process through national level examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments, their Agencies and Institutions
Desirable- Experience of working in molecular biology laboratory
Age limit : 35 years
Salary approved : 31000+ 24% HRA
