Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on the following project sponsored by Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) having grant No. SRG/2022/000443, under the supervision of Dr. Srinivasa Prasad, Department of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.
Title of the project : Impact of age/age-related hearing loss on basal forebrain-modulated cortical neurophysiology A search for therapeutic targets
Essential Qualification : 1. M.Pharm (Pharmacology) with hands-on experience in project and GPAT qualification preferred.
2. Experience in HPLC/ microdialysis/ molecular biology techniques/electrophysiology/neuroscience or animal handling would be an added advantage.
3. Additionally, willingness to learn new techniques or concepts, good written and oral English skills are highly desirable
Duration of the project : Two years
Emoluments : 31000 per month

Preliminary shortlisting will be based on resume and telephonic/audio-visual interview within two weeks of the last date of application. Selected candidate may be permitted to register for the Ph.D. program of BITS-Pilani, subject to the fulfillment of the requirements.
