Senior Research Fellow Job at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Regional Centre for Biotechnology is an academic institution established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.

Post : Project - SRF position

Title of Project : ''Insights into the signal transduction mechanism of GraXSR regulon required for antibiotic resistance in Staphyloccocus aureus''.

Duration : Upto 05.06.2022.

Age Limit : 30 Years as on 30th September, 2021.

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in life sciences with NET/DBT-JRF/INSPIRE/GATE or equivalent exam cleared. Minimum 60% marks in Masters or equivalent degree. Minimum two years of research experience post M.Sc. in Microbiology or X-ray crystallography/Biophysics.

Desirable Qualifications : Experience in microbiology techniques, biochemical and biophysical techniques, good oral and written communication skills and ability to work independently are preferred

Principal Investigator : Dr. Deepti Jain, Associate Professor

Fellowship : Rs. 35,000/- + HRA per month.
