Opportunity for M.Pharm, MSc under DBT funded project at NIAB - Government of India

NIAB is an autonomous and premier institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The Institute aims to develop and harness novel and emerging biotechnological tools and applications, and take up research in cutting-edge areas for improving animal health and productivity as well as contribute to human health and welfare.

Post : Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited from suitable candidate for filling up one position of JRF under DBT funded project entitled “Molecular platform for epidemiology, disease mapping and development of diagnostics for economically important diseases of ducks” of Dr. Madhuri Subbiah (non-NER PI).

Fellowship amount : Rs. 25,000/-+30% HRA.

Eligibility : Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M. Pharm/M. Tech in Life Sciences/M. V. Sc. etc.) or Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology) with NET qualification. However, Non NET candidates can also apply who will be paid as per their eligibility. Candidates having prior experience in molecular techniques involving nucleic acid isolation, quantification, amplification and with cell culture experiences will be preferred.

Upper Age limit : 30 years
