Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) is attached office of the Department of Health & Family Welfare and has subordinate offices spread all over the country. The DGHS renders technical advice on all Medical and Public Health matters and is involved in the implementation of various Health Services.
Applications are invited for engagement of two consultants, purely cn contract basis, for a period of one year, as per details given below.
Consultant
Eligibility : Recently retired Deputy Secretary/Under Secretary level Officers of Government of India below 65 year of age with a Graduate degree. Preference would be given to those who have retired recently and those who have experience in relevant field.
No of post : 1
Remuneration : Rs. 60,000 / Per Month consolidated
Job requirement : Framing / amending of Recruitment Rules; All Admimstrative/establishment issues relating to attached / subordinate Offices and autonomous bodies under this Division Handling court cases including matters relating to administrative practices and Rules & procedure of various Courts / Administrative Tribunals; Processing / frammg proposals of manpower plan nmg/restructu ring; matters relating to recruitment, promotion, deputation.
Consultant

Preference would be given to those who have retired recently and those who have experience in relevant field.
No of post : 1
Remuneration : Rs. 60,000 / Per Month consolidated
Job requirement : Matter relating to Strengthening Drugs Regulatory System that includes release of grants to States and taking up the matter witn the State Governments and Budget related matter. Evaluation of the said scheme and ether matters and work given by senior officers.

(1) Selection would be made on the basis of the qualification and experience of the applicants. If required, after screening the applications, an interview may also be conducted. The applicants would be suitably informed, on the contact details provided by them in the application.
(2) The contract appointment would initially be for a period of one year which may be considered for extension based on performance and as per the requirement after due assessment.
