The story of Oil India Limited (OIL) traces and symbolises the development and growth of the Indian petroleum industry. From the discovery of crude oil in the far east of India at Digboi, Assam in 1889 to its present status as a fully integrated upstream petroleum company, OIL has come far, crossing many milestones. Oil India Limited On February 18, 1959, Oil India Private Limited was incorporated to expand and develop the newly discovered oil fields of Naharkatiya and Moran in the Indian North East. In 1961, it became a joint venture company between the Indian Government and Burmah Oil Company Limited, UK. In 1981, OIL became a wholly-owned Government of India enterprise. Today, OIL is a premier Indian National Oil Company engaged in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas, transportation of crude oil and production of LPG. OIL also provides various E&P related services and holds 26% equity in Numaligarh Refinery Limited.

Qualification & Experience :
i) Passed 10+2 in Science Stream from Govt. recognized Board / Institution / University.
ii) Passed 02 (Two) years full-time Diploma course in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by Govt. of India and the Pharmacy Council of India.
iii) Must be registered with Assam Pharmacy Council and should possess valid professional Pharmacist License issued by State Govt. Authorities.
iv) Must have 02 (Two) years post qualification experience.

Contractual Emolument: The selected candidate(s) will be paid a contractual emolument as given below with necessary deduction, as applicable.
(i) Fixed emolument: Rs. 14,330.00 (Rupees Fourteen Thousand Three Hundred and Thirty) only per month based on actual attendance including leave, if any,
(II) Variable emolument: Rs. 500.OO (Rupees Five Hundred) only per day for each working day.

Period of Contract: The engagement will be purely on a contractual basis only, The initial period of contractual engagement will be for 06 (Six) months only. Further, the period of above contractual engagement may be extendable after the requisite interval for a subsequent period Of 06 (Six) months only depending on the departmental requirement, job performance, conduct etc. up to the total contractual engagement period of maximum (One) year. The total period of contractual engagement Will be 01 (One) year only which will not exceed under any circumstance.

Accommodation: The selected candidate(S) will have to arrange accommodation at his/her own cost during the period, Of the above contractual engagement.

(c) 01 (One) Copy of recent 3cm X 3cm coloured photograph.
(d) Original and self-attested photocopy of Identity Proof issued by a Government Authority.

(iv) No-objection Certificate from concerned employer in case the applicant is working in any Government Department/Organisation/PSU. On the above-scheduled date(s) of the Walk-in-Interview, the candidate(s) will have to register themselves for the Walk-in-interview at the venue compulsorily between 07:00 AM. to 11:00 A.M. Under no circumstances, candidate(S) will be allowed register beyond the timings stated hereinabove.

If the total number of candidate(s) registered for the Walk-in-interview On the above-scheduled date(s) is beyond the adequate limit/ capacity, please note that the Walk-in-Interview for the remaining registered candidate(s) will be carried forward,/compelled on a subsequent day(s), as required.
