International Admissions has three scholarships to offer to new undergraduate degree-seeking international students (both freshman and transfer). If you are an international student admitted to an undergraduate degree program at K-State, we welcome your scholarship application.

Self-sponsored (or family-sponsored) students paying non-resident tuition receive priority for these scholarships. Also, scholarships are granted first to Fall semester admitted students and remaining scholarships are granted to Spring semester admitted students.

International Merit Scholarship
The International Merit Scholarship recognizes incoming undergraduate international students who demonstrate high previous academic achievement and potential to excel at K-State. Thirty (30) incoming students receive this award per academic year, ranging in value from usd 4,000 to usd 7,500 per student.

Global Diversity Scholarship
The Global Diversity Scholarship promotes diversity in the K-State international undergraduate student body. Twenty (20) incoming students receive this usd2,000 award per academic year.

Alumni Association International Student Scholarship
The Alumni Association International Student Scholarship supports students who will contribute both during their time at K-State and after graduation as K-State alumni. Five (5) incoming students receive this usd 1,000 award in the Fall semester

How to Apply for Scholarships
All admitted degree-seeking international undergraduate students may apply for these scholarships. If you apply, you will be automatically considered for, and could receive, all three awards.

The personal statement should be no more than 500 words and answer the question: "What will you contribute to the K-State Family as a student?" While the statement should be in English, your proficiency level will not be a factor in your consideration.
