Roles & Responsibilities
• Support medicinal chemistry activities in drug discovery projects, including compound library prioritization, NCE design and SAR development, using state-of-the-art classical and Al-enabled molecular modeling techniques. Interact directly with Medicinal Chemistry leads and independently drive these activities with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing targeted small-molecule modulators, peptides, targeted proximity inducers (e.g., PROTACs and molecular glues), and related modalities using structure-guided computational approaches.
• Strong expertise in ILM prompt engineering and Al platforms for life sciences, such as Biomni, Claude Science, BioNeMo, or others.
• Experience working with Data Scientists/Engineers to develop automated
bioinformatics workflows, machine-learning models for drug-discovery endpoint prediction, and standalone agentic Al applications is an advantage.
• Sound understanding of bioinformatics fundamentals, organic chemistry, in vitro and in vivo biological assays, preclinical drug-discovery workflows, clinical trials, and cancer biology is essential.
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS and basic proficiency in Python and/or R scripting are required.
Experience & Qualification
M.Pharm / M.Sc / M.Tech. with 12 - 16 years’ experience or Ph.D. with 5-8 years’ experience.
