Vacancy for B.Pharm in Quality and Patient Safety at NHSRC, Health Ministry - Salary upto 1.5 lakh month

National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is a technical support organisation under the National Health Mission, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. NHSRC channelizes required technical assistance for the MoHFW and the States for strengthening of the health systems and other related domains. Such requirements are dynamic in nature. Work at the NHSRC is organized around eight divisions, namely – Community Processes & Comprehensive Primary Care, Healthcare Financing, Healthcare Technology, Human Resources for Health and Integrated Planning, IT, Knowledge Management, Public Health Administration and Quality and Patient Safety.

Post : Senior Consultant - Quality and Patient Safety

The Position reports to Advisor- Quality Patient Safety Division and is on Contractual basis.

Roles & Responsibilities : Expected roles of the incumbent are summarized below –
• Mentor and support the QPS team
• Review the contemporary literature and programme guidelines and examine the existing measurement system (ME & checkpoints) under the NQAS, LaQshya, MusQan, Kayakalp and Patient Safety Tool.
• Support the division in drafting of other quality initiatives
• Support the States with Implementation of NQAS, LaQshya, MusQan, Kayakalp and Patient Safety Tools.
• Development of Resource Material
• Conduct trainings in the States/UT
• Analysis of key performance indicators, outcome indicators and plan further to strengthen the gaps observed during the analysis.
• May be deputed to work in the Certification unit, NHSRC
• Any other task, as per need of the Quality and Patient Safety Division
Qualification & Experience : For achieving above-mentioned deliverables, the applicant is expected to possess following qualifications & Experience –

Essential Qualification – 1. Possess MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/Nursing/B.Pharma degree with Two years full-time Post graduate degree in Hospital Management/ Public Health from a reputed institute : 2. 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
3. At least Two years’ experience of implementation of National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) at the National / State level.
4. Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.)

Age Limit : 50 years & below. (As on the date of receiving the application)
Work Location : New Delhi; Opportunity to gain hands on experience of public health canvas of states and districts. Travel to states and districts may be involved.
Remuneration Range : Between Rs. Rs.90,000/- to Rs. 1,50,000/-
*Fee offered within the band will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
Other Benefits : In addition to the renumeration mentioned above, Consultants of NHSRC are entitled to Free Accidental insurance, Subsidized Medical insurance, Mobile bills reimbursement, Laptop reimbursement (As per NHSRC Policy), 30 days Consolidated leave, fully paid Maternity leave (For Female Consultants) as per Government of India policy, performance linked increments, TA/ DA and per diem for on-duty visits.
