Qualifications :
Essential:
PhD in Epidemiology / Environmental Sciences / Health Economics / Health Sciences / Health Technology Assessment / Life Sciences / Pharmacy Practice / Population Sciences / Public Health / Statistics
OR
Postgraduate degree in the same fields with 3 years of relevant experience in Evidence Synthesis or a related field.
Desirable :
• At least one publication in Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis as First author
• Knowledge of the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation) framework for evidence synthesis and guideline development
• Expertise in using statistical software like STATA, Revman, and R
Job Responsibilities :
• Conduct high-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses (SRMA) in alignment with research protocols and guidelines (Including preparing SRMA protocols, develop search strategies, literature screening, data extraction, and synthesis for evidence compilation).
• Critically appraise studies using the GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation) methodology to evaluate the quality of evidence.
• Regularly report progress to the principal investigator, including preparing annual reports and documentation of expenditure for review and approval, preparing manuscripts for the completed reviews and submit to peer-reviewed journals for publication.
• Support the organization and facilitation of training programs and workshops focused on evidence synthesis methodologies and the GRADE approach.
• Assist in managing timelines and ensuring deliverables, such as the submission of completed systematic reviews and presentation of findings at expert group meetings.
