All-India Institute of Medical Sciences was established as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament with the objects to develop patterns of teaching in Undergraduate and Post-graduate Medical Education in all its branches so as to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education in India; to bring together in one place educational facilities of the highest order for the training of personnel in all important branches of health activity; and to attain self-sufficiency in Post-graduate Medical Education.
Post : Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) – One Post
Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates for the post of one Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in SERB funded project " To investigate the synergetic anti-tumor effect of DN200434 (a potent inverse agonist of Estrogen Related Receptor-γ) and MK2206 (Akt inhibitor) in anaplastic thyroid cancer and papillary thyroid cancer in vivo“
PI : Dr. Thoudam Debraj Singh, Additional Professor, Dept. of Medical Oncology Lab., Dr. BRA IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi.
Duration : 3 years
Salary : As per DST/SERB norm
Eligibility : First Class in M.Sc. Life sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Genetics / Zoology / Biomedical Sciences and other allied Sciences
Desirable Qualifications : Candidates who have cleared National Exams like UGC, NET, CSIR, DBT, ICMR exams will have added advantage (not mandatory). Hands on experience of animal cell culture, drug delivery in in vitro and in vivo mice model, molecular biology and biochemical techniques, Flow cytometry, PCR, IHC and immunoblotting etc
Note
• Initial recruitment will be for 3 months. On the basis of progress monitored by PI, recruitment will be renewed or terminated.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• The decision of the selection panel will be considered final.
