Qualifications : Essential : i.) First class M.Sc (any field of Life Science)
ii.) Applicant must be qualified in any one of the following tests : CSIR/UGC/ICMR including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) OR GATE. National Level examination DST, DBT, MoE, ICMR, IIT etc
Desirable : i) Experience in Animal handling skills.
ii) Experience in Virology techniques.
iii) Experience in Cell Biology techniques – Immunofluorescence techniques.
iv) Experience in Molecular Biology techniques – RNA extraction, qPCR
Monthly stipend : Rs. 37,000/- + HRA (as applicable)
Age limit (as on date of interview) : i) Upto 28 years. In case of JRF candidates upto 31 years (28+3 years for activation as per JRF guidelines)
ii) Age relaxation of upto 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer).
iii) Age relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST/Divyang/women candidates
1. 3. The prescribed essential qualifications are the bare minimum and mere possession of same will not entitle the candidate to be called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to select a suitable candidate.
4. In the case of deserving and exceptionally qualified candidates, desirable qualifications are relaxed at the discretion of the Competent Authority.
5. The Candidate has the option to appear for an interview in Hindi language as well.
