iBRIC-inStem invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellow

The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine, Bangalore is a research institute under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. iBRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. To develop strengths in focused areas, research at iBRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.

Post : Post Doctoral Fellow

iBRIC-inStem invites applications (in online mode) from eligible candidates for the contractual positions in the laboratory of Dr. Arjun Guha, Associate Investigator. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze, and communicate data effectively, and are excellent team players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Monthly Emoluments : Rs 58,000/m + 27% HRA (with PhD awarded) (or) Rs 42,000/m+ 27%HRA until thesis defense (with thesis submission)

Age Limit : 40 years
Qualification & Experience : Essential Qualification Doctoral Degree in Science from a recognized university or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Stem Cell Biology and Neurobiology / Neuroscience with a strong publication record and research experience in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, and Neurobiology.
Job Description : Candidates having strong experience in cloning, proximity labelling/coimmunoprecipitation , CRISPR-Cas9 technology, FACS, culturing primary neural stem cells & neurons and Immunofluorescence are highly encouraged to apply with a promising responsibility and hard work for working on the above aspects The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team is essential.
Tenure : Contractual appointment for 11 months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement.
