Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-I to actively work on the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) funded project entitled “Proteomics of medically important snakes of North-east India and development of diagnostic assays for the identification of snake bite at species level.” at Gujarat Biotechnology University (GBU). The post is purely temporary and co- terminates with project.

Qualification and experience : Doctoral degree in science or master’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognized University in a relevant discipline
Desirable Qualification/ Experience : Experience in : Monoclonal antibody development / Proteomics / Diagnostic assay development / Molecular Biology / Biosensors / Electrochemicalsensing.
Scientific data analysis, Project execution and management, writing project report, publications/patents etc.
Monthly Emoluments : INR/ 61040 Including HRA
Age Limit : Up to 35 years on closing date of advertisement
Project Duration : Till the end of the project: Initially contract will be given for 1 year. Contract may be extended based on the performance subject to availability of funds.
