NIAB, an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focus is on animal genetics and genomics, transgenesis, stem cell & its applications, reproductive biotechnology, infectious diseases, nanotechnology, bioinformatics and Nutrigenomics. The Institute aims at translational research leading to genetic enhancement of Indian Livestock species and basic research towards development of novel vaccines, diagnostics and improved therapeutic molecules for farm animals.

Essential qualification : Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Graduate / Post Graduate degree in professional course. .M.V.Sc. / M.Tech / MSc ./ M.Pharm Degree in Bioinformatics / Biotechnology Biochemistry /Microbiology / Immunology with first division. Experience with Bioinformatics will be preferred.
Fellowship : Rs. 25,000/- + 24% HRA
Project Associate- II
No of post : 1
Essential qualification : Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course. .M.V.Sc. / M.Tech ./ MSc. / M.Pharm Degree in Biotechnology Biochemistry / Microbiology / Immunology with first division. The candidate should have minimum two-year research experience preferably as JRF (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z- 09/2012 dated 21.10.2014 and SR/S9/Z- 08/2018 dated 30.01.2019). Experience in large animal handling, ultrasound imaging and ovarian biology will be preferred.
Fellowship : Rs. 28,000/- + 24% HRA
Tenable upto : Upto 01 Year.
Age : 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions).
