Job for Pharmacist at GBPIHED autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Environment

G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment (formerly known as G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development) was established in 1988-89, during the birth centenary year of Bharat Ratna Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant, as an autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Govt. of India, which has been identified as a focal agency to advance scientific knowledge, to evolve integrated management strategies, demonstrate their efficacy for conservation of natural resources, and to ensure environmentally sound development in the entire Indian Himalayan Region (IHR).

Post : Nursing Assistant / Pharmacist

Applications are invited only from Indian citizens for the following purely contract based temporary position at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute. The candidate with adequate qualification may appear for Walk-In-Interview on 08.11.2023 at (10:00 A.M onwards). Candidates appearing for Walk-In-Interview must bring all original copies (with xerox copy) of certificates, testimonials, experience etc. along with an application.

Maximum Age Limit : 45 Years*
Essential Qualification : Bachelor / Diploma in Nursing / Pharmacy with min. 5 years experience in the relevant field
Desirable Qualification : Preference will be given to the Ex-serviceman/Woman candidates
Emoluments : Rs. 20,000/- + (Residential facilities will be provided in the Institute premises as per rules)

Nature of work
• To perform regular duties of nursing assistant / pharmacist
• To assist Doctor / Medical officer in the Institute Dispensary
• To assist / attend residents / staffs of the Institute in the medical emergency
• Any other duties assigned by Institute Dispensary Incharge / Medical officer

Period of engagement : The engagement will be on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year extendable for further period based on the requirement and performance. However, it will not be extended after attaining the age of 60 years in any circumstances.
*Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically handicapped candidates as per rules.

1. 3. Candidates must bring original documents pertaining to their educational qualifications & experience along with one set of photocopies. The experience will not be considered without an experience certificate.
4. The selected candidate(s) are expected to join immediately.
5. The selected candidate is liable to be posted anywhere in India.
6. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the Interview.
7. Institute reserve the right to disengage the manpower at any time without assigning any reasons thereof.
8. The engagement is purely temporary in nature.
9. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Institute in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, and the conduct of examination/ interview will be final and no query or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or his/her agency.
