Originally established by the Government of Kerala as an advanced centre for medical specialties, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology SCTIMST metamorphosed into an Institution of National Importance with the status of a University in 1980 under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India by an Act of Parliament. The joint culture of medicine and technology that the Institute pioneered more than three decades ago has come of age and gained unprecedented acceptance in India.

Qualifications : D.Pharm
Desirable : Knowledge in Computer Application. (Eligible for training only if the date of commencement of training and the date of issue of last mark list of D.Pharm is less than three years.)
Age Limit (as on 1.10.2023) : 30 Years
Stipend : 8000/- per month
Period of training : 1 year
Interested candidates may appear for the selection along with original and copies of certificates to prove their age, qualification etc. Candidates belonging to OBC should submit valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by an Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildhar. Otherwise they will consider against the UR vacancy.
Written test will be conducted in accordance with COVID-19 Protocol.
Candidates having D.Pharm qualification will only be considered. It may be noted that candidate who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of qualification shall not be eligible for being engaged as an Apprentice.
