Post : Junior Technical Associate (Cell Culture)
Qualification :
Essential : Master’s degree in in Biotechnology/Biochemistry with 60% marks
Post Qualification Experience
Essential : Minimum two years relevant hands on experience in handling cell culture (Primary and Secondary), doing cytotoxicity assays like MTT, DNA/RNA extractions and PCR, real time PCR, Electrophoresis techniques like AGE and PAGE, ELISA, western blotting and Flow cytometry
Desirable : Technical/Theoretical knowhow in Microarray and Next generation sequencing platforms
Basic pay range (For Fixed Term Contract engagement) : Rs.10,000 – 20,000/- (The basic pay will be fixed within the pay range depending on the qualification, experience and the current pay drawn by thecandidate. However, in addition to Basic Pay, DA, HRA and Perks will be applicable in fixing the final salary)
Location : Trivandrum
Maximum Age : 30 years as on 01.10.2022
Job Profile
1. Maintenance of the cell culture facility (Primary and secondary), storage of cell culture and standardization of protocols for pre-clinical studies
2. Undertake the routine tests for cytotoxicity of materials/drugs/compounds
3. To perform experiments like real time PCR, western blotting, ELISA, Flow cytometry with proper documentation and assist animal experiments of all projects related to pre-clinical facility
4. To work as a team in timely delivery of new products for the company towards product development
