Qualification :
Essential : Master’s degree in Chemistry with 60% marks
Post Qualification Experience
Essential : Minimum two years research experience in phytochemical extraction, isolation and characterization. Experience in conducting biological assays. Hands on experience in Accelerated Solvent Extractor, Flash chromatography and HPLC.
Desirable : Experience in animal experiments
Basic pay range (For Fixed Term Contract engagement) : Rs.10,000 – 20,000/- (The basic pay will be fixed within the pay range depending on the qualification, experience and the current pay drawn by thecandidate. However, in addition to Basic Pay, DA, HRA and Perks will be applicable in fixing the final salary)
Location : Thiruvananthapuram
Maximum Age : 30 years as on 01.10.2022
Job Profile
1. Phytochemical extraction, isolation and characterization
2. Development of herbal based products and their characteristics studies using different techniques like TLC, HPLC, flash chromatography etc.
3. In vivo efficacy studies
